The air of the New Year was no fresher than usual, yet the city of Qiansang bustled far more than on ordinary days. Long before the sun lazily rose, Rong’er had already stepped outside, heading to a nearby stall to buy some early morning food. Seeing the crowded streets, her gaze momentarily wavered before returning to its usual steadiness. After paying the shopkeeper, she carried the food back toward the courtyard.

Rong’er walked slowly, as if reluctant to return to that courtyard.

Ordinarily, she wouldn’t have needed to go out to buy breakfast—the servants could handle such tasks. But having barely slept through the night, she finally managed to close her eyes at dawn, only for the adjacent room to stir again shortly after.

The thought that the neighboring room had been far from quiet all night flushed her cheeks with embarrassment. Had it not been for the awkwardness of staying in bed listening to such intimate sounds, she would never have risen so early. The noises had continued unabated all night, and whether Rong’er liked it or not, she had listened through it all. This morning, when she unconsciously reached out in a certain direction and found it damp, she blushed fiercely and quickly covered her face with the blanket. Thankfully, no one else was in the room, sparing her from being seen in such a predicament.

If not for this, she wouldn't have ventured out so early to buy breakfast.

Upon entering the courtyard, Rong’er spotted Qin Yue. He stood there, staring blankly at a leafless old tree, lost in thought.

“Sister Qin, you’re up so early too?” she called softly as she approached, but Qin Yue seemed oblivious, showing no reaction.

“Sister Qin!” Rong’er repeated, puzzled. Following his gaze, she looked at the tree but saw nothing remarkable—just a bare trunk, standing lonely in the biting north wind, appearing rather desolate. Drawing closer, she noted Qin Yue’s unawareness and, with a slight pout, raised her voice to startle him.

“Ah?”

Startled awake as if from a dream, Qin Yue stepped back in surprise, a hint of panic flashing across his face. Seeing Rong’er approach with a mischievous smile, he realized she was teasing him. Yet, he was too preoccupied to care much and simply smiled gently, asking, “Miss Rong’er, where did you go so early?”

“See!” Rong’er lifted the breakfast in her hand with a smile. “I couldn’t sleep, so I went out to buy some food.”

“You couldn’t sleep either?” Qin Yue replied instinctively, then suddenly felt uneasy, as if revealing a secret. His face flushed slightly, and he quickly added, “You’re a guest. You shouldn’t trouble yourself with such things. Don’t catch a cold—come inside.”

“Alright,” Rong’er answered. Just as she was about to say more, a strange noise faintly reached her ears. Her face flushed again in embarrassment. She looked up, ready to say something to drown out the irritating sound, only to find Qin Yue’s cheeks were also tinged with red as he glanced at her. For a moment, neither knew what to say, while the “ah ah” noises grew louder, making the two innocent young women wish they could flee the courtyard.

“It’s been going on all night, and now even in the morning—they really can keep it up, huh?” someone remarked.

“Young people are always impulsive,” another replied.

“True, young or not, that’s a bit much,” the conversation continued.

“You see General Qin, so mighty and extraordinary. He’s no ordinary man—he’s the one who leads troops all the way to the Xiongnu’s lair. One night like this is nothing; I bet they could keep it up another night easily!”

“Right, though that means we won’t be getting any sleep tonight.”

“That’s true. And the lady’s voice—well, it is a bit loud... but that’s how it should be, matching a godlike figure like General Qin!”

“Heh!”

Standing at the door, Qin Yue and Rong’er watched two impudent servants strolling by, speaking words that made them blush with shame and anger. Neither could decide whether to leave or stay. When the servants reached them, they looked up in surprise, quickly bowing and greeting, “Masters!”

...

In the guest room of the rear courtyard, spring’s beauty was in full bloom.

Bai Xinxin, bare-skinned, sat astride Qin Cheng, her body moving with abandon. Sweaty and flushed, she panted and called out in ecstasy. At that moment, she grasped Qin Cheng's hand and placed it upon the proud peak of her chest, her hips sliding forward and back, rising and falling rhythmically. Her cheeks glowed crimson, chin lifted, eyes closed, fully immersed in delight and rapture.

“Ah… ah… Darling… you’re so big and hard… Xinxin’s about to fly to heaven!”

Whenever nearing climax, Bai Xinxin called Qin Cheng "Darling." Perhaps it was because he was the only man in the household, or maybe it hinted at something more. At these moments, Qin Cheng watched Bai Xinxin’s lithe waist twist and turn, feeling the exquisite sensations through his hands and senses, excitement surging within him. His hands gripped her proud breasts tighter, and his strong hips moved in sync with hers, aiming to reach the peak together.

“Xinxin, you’re absolutely enchanting like this!” Qin Cheng gasped, breath heavy.

“Really? Do you like me like this, Darling? Ah…” Bai Xinxin’s sultry eyes beckoned him like a temptress luring an innocent scholar. Naturally beautiful and alluring, her deliberate seduction was utterly irresistible.

“I do, I adore it!” Qin Cheng’s desire flared higher, eager to pin Bai Xinxin down. His movements grew more fierce and unbridled as he declared fiercely.

“Ah… Xinxin’s reached heaven!”

Bai Xinxin cried out in a hauntingly beautiful voice, her body trembling before going limp and resting against Qin Cheng’s chest. Stimulated by her state, Qin Cheng followed swiftly, the two lingering at their climax for a long while.

...

Exhausted after their encounter, they lay entwined on the bed, both panting heavily.

Bai Xinxin’s head rested on Qin Cheng’s chest; her creamy, delicate shoulder peeked from beneath the covers. Her hand gently traced circles on his muscular chest, her face radiating blissful contentment.

One arm around her, the other beneath his head, Qin Cheng glanced at the beauty in his arms, then at the ceiling beam, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Damn, this was exhilarating!

The previous night had been a whirlwind of passion, lasting until dawn. Waking this morning, he was immediately roused once more. What pleased Qin Cheng most wasn’t just the vigor but the realization that Bai Xinxin was truly a born beauty—the kind of noble lady both in and out of bed. The details were clear, and her innate understanding was extraordinary. During the first round the night before, Qin Cheng led the way, but this morning, Bai Xinxin took charge alone, lifting them both to heaven—a true marvel.

Isn’t the goddess every man dreams of a noble lady in the streets and a passionate lover in bed? Bai Xinxin not only fulfilled but surpassed that ideal, leaving Qin Cheng immensely proud.

“General, you were so fierce last night… you really overwhelmed Xinxin!” Bai Xinxin said, her slender fingers tracing circles on Qin Cheng’s chest, her tone a mix of grievance, affection, and playful teasing.

“Ha ha…” Qin Cheng laughed heartily, giving her soft, plump behind a playful slap. “Didn’t Xinxin enjoy being dominated by me?”

“You villain!” Bai Xinxin scolded, tapping his chest, then leaned in to press her face against him.

“‘Nice guys finish last’—that’s a universal truth!” Qin Cheng mused aloud.

“Hmph!” Bai Xinxin gave a gentle huff, her lips pursing slightly, revealing a hint of childlike coyness.

Qin Cheng bent down just in time to see this, his body shuddering as a familiar stirring returned.

Noticing his change, Bai Xinxin gasped in surprise and a hint of panic. “How… how is it happening again?”

Qin Cheng looked at her with a wicked grin, wolfish and teasing. “Isn’t it your fault? So, what do you suggest we do?”

Startled, Bai Xinxin recoiled slightly, eyes wide with flustered panic. After a long pause, she murmured something that nearly made Qin Cheng’s nose bleed again.

“I’ll use my mouth…”
