The man in glasses noticed the situation as well and frowned, asking, "Kid, tell me, was this your doing?"

Ye Nan sneered, "I only have one backpack on me. Do you suspect I managed to stuff all the drinks and bottled water in the store into it?"

The man in glasses snorted and said nothing.

Ye Nan asked, "Do you want to search me?"

Su Tao, known as "Honey Peach," interjected, "Young man, that’s not what we meant. We just find it strange. Even if someone came to move the water, they couldn't possibly clear it all out. The store is so large; who would have the ability to do that?"

"How would I know?" Ye Nan shook his head.

Su Tao sighed, "What are we supposed to do now? If we just stay here, it's no different from waiting to die."

Ye Nan maintained his usual devil-may-care expression, his eyes fixed on the devilish curves of her figure beneath her yoga outfit. "Honey Peach, actually, I can get out of here."

Su Tao was delighted, but then she caught his tone and asked curiously, "Why do you call me Honey Peach?"

Ye Nan gestured toward her curvaceous hips and smirked, "Hasn't anyone ever told you that your peach-like hips are quite charming?"

Su Tao gave him a coquettish glare and whispered, "My boyfriend is right here. Don't be like that."

Although they spoke softly, the man in glasses heard every word clearly. He flew into a rage, cursing, "Damn it, kid! If you dare hit on my girlfriend again, see if I don't kill you!"

Ye Nan ignored him and continued to address Su Tao, "Honey Peach, if you want food and water in the future, you don't actually need to come out and take risks. You can come find me at Room 2001, Building 1 in the high-rise district to trade. The prices are absolutely fair."

"What kind of trade?" Su Tao asked.

Ye Nan smiled and said bluntly, "Sleep with me once, and I'll make sure you get a full meal. When you leave, you can also take ten packs of instant noodles or five bottles of water."

Su Tao’s face flushed red with indignation. "How could you be so shameless? I am still a virgin; I will never use my body to trade with you."

"A virgin?" Ye Nan was surprised, a meaningful smile spreading across his face as he looked at the man in glasses. "Oh, brother, looks like you haven't succeeded yet."

"Damn you, you're looking for death!"

The man in glasses could no longer contain his fury. He shoved Su Tao aside, raised a steel pipe, and charged.

Ye Nan caught the pipe, tossed it aside, and kicked the man to the ground.

"You dare provoke me with that level of strength? Heh." Ye Nan walked toward the store entrance, looking back to say, "Honey Peach, if you want to survive, follow behind me. I’ll protect you and bring you back safely."

Ye Nan’s primary goal for this outing was to collect supplies. Having gathered enough and seeing that darkness was falling—which would make staying out dangerous—he planned to head home. Ignoring what Su Tao might be thinking, he went to the main door and swung it open.

This action scared Su Tao and the man in glasses half to death; if zombies rushed in, they would be torn to shreds.

Su Tao’s face went pale, and she couldn't help but scream, "What are you doing?!"

The man in glasses yelled, "Kid, are you trying to get us all killed?"

True enough, the moment the door opened, several zombies lunged in, their hideous appearances striking genuine fear into their hearts.

Yet, Ye Nan remained relaxed. With continuous swings of his Thunder Sword, he dispatched all the zombies in the blink of an eye.

At that moment, not just Su Tao, but even the man in glasses stared wide-eyed, unable to believe what he had just seen. This was too inconceivable. Was he even human?

Ye Nan gave a wicked grin. "Honey Peach, why are you still standing there? Let's go."

"Oh, right." Su Tao took a deep breath, suppressing her shock. She helped the man in glasses up, and they followed behind Ye Nan. Though the man in glasses despised Ye Nan, he knew better than to pass up a chance to survive.

Outside, there were even more zombies, some even reaching Level 1. But as a Level 2 supernatural user, Ye Nan dealt with them as easily as slicing vegetables. Every time his sword fell, another zombie went down. Taking advantage of the distraction, he collected the energy crystals before continuing his slaughter.

By carving a path of blood, Ye Nan ensured the pair faced no danger, and they soon arrived back at the residential compound. By morning, the villa area had been cleared by Ye Nan and the three women, making zombies a rare sight. Returning to this environment felt like pre-apocalyptic times, leaving Su Tao and her boyfriend deeply moved.

Su Tao seemed to realize something and asked, "Did you clear out the zombies in the villa district?"

Ye Nan nodded.

Su Tao wore a look of realization. Ye Nan’s power was far beyond her expectations. She now understood that he must have acquired some kind of superpower; otherwise, it would be scientifically impossible for a human to fight their way in and out of such a horde.

"Thank you. If not for you, my boyfriend and I would have been finished," Su Tao said with sincere gratitude. "I'll repay you if I have the chance."

Ye Nan smirked, "No need for repayment. Just remember what I said: if you want food and water, come find me at Room 2001, Building 1 in the high-rise district for a trade. Heh heh."

Su Tao didn't respond, only glared at him. Beside them, the man in glasses felt his suppressed fury nearly ignite again. Sensing this, Su Tao quickly pulled him away before another conflict could break out.

Back at the villa, the three women had finished packing. Ye Nan expanded the entrance to the Thunder Tower and moved their luggage inside. Thinking it over, he didn't spare the furniture or kitchenware, moving everything into the tower.

When finished, he waved his hand grandly, "Let's go, moving time!"

Li Siqi followed, "Right, moving day. A new place, a new mood."

Gong Wanru looked at the villa she had lived in for years and sighed, "Leaving so soon, I'm truly reluctant."

Yan Ruoliu added, "Leaving is for a better life. Let's go. We're still in the same complex; we can always come back to visit."

"That's true," Gong Wanru said. "Let's go."

Before long, Ye Nan led the three women to Room 2001, Building 1 in the high-rise district. Climbing 20 flights of stairs left the three women breathless, while Ye Nan remained perfectly at ease without even a heavy breath.

Gong Wanru said with envy, "As expected of a supernatural user, your physical fitness is truly enviable."

Yan Ruoliu chimed in, "The luckier part is that his ability includes storage. Otherwise, I don't know how exhausted we’d be carrying all this luggage up 20 floors."

"Heh, if I didn't have such physical fitness, how could I have conquered you three beauties?" Ye Nan laughed wickedly.

"Get lost, you have no sense of decency," Gong Wanru scolded with a smile, though she secretly agreed.

Ye Nan remarked, "If I were a weakling, you’d probably be scolding me for that, too."

Gong Wanru gave a charming, coquettish huff, her mature, elegant allure shining through.

Li Siqi changed the subject, "We should celebrate properly tonight."

"Right, we definitely should," Ye Nan opened the door and made a welcoming gesture. "Please come in, my ladies."

Upon seeing the interior design, Yan Ruoliu and Li Siqi were rendered speechless. Having only heard Ye Nan describe it vaguely before, seeing the real thing made them understand what a true safe house was—its defensive capabilities were off the charts, and it was filled with entertainment facilities, ensuring they wouldn't feel bored or lonely even after living there for a long time.

Gong Wanru had been here once before, but seeing it again still prompted a sigh of wonder. Seeing such a sanctuary in the apocalypse compared to peacetime was a completely different feeling. She realized how wise her friend had been to prepare this.

Li Siqi sprawled onto the soft sofa, cheering, "I never want to leave now. I’m just going to stay here and enjoy life; I’m not going anywhere."

Gong Wanru suggested, "Let's tidy up the place a bit and cook something delicious to treat ourselves. Even in the apocalypse, we must keep hope for our lives."

"Right, exactly," Ye Nan said, opening the tower portal and pulling out a mountain of ingredients. "I collected quite a bit while I was out. There's frozen meat and vegetables. Cook whatever you like; treat it just like in the old days."

Seeing the bounty of ingredients, Li Siqi said happily, "This is wonderful."

The three women went to work. The safe house wasn't dirty or messy, so it didn't take them long to finish cleaning. Then, they started cooking. Ye Nan enjoyed a rare moment of leisure, filling the indoor pool and jumping in wearing only his trunks, closing his eyes to enjoy the peace.

Refreshing! Absolutely wonderful!

He had a sudden illusion that he wasn't in the apocalypse at all, but back in peaceful times. He discovered that he had fallen in love with this life. If he were forced back to the old world now, he wouldn't even want to go. He had powers, three beautiful women by his side, and a safe house. Life was sweet—no pressure to earn money, no capitalist oppression, living exactly as he pleased. This was true living.

Li Siqi’s cooking skills were... hard to describe. Seeing Gong Wanru and Yan Ruoliu busy in the kitchen, she realized she couldn't help much. A mischievous, fox-like smile played on her lips as she went to the bedroom to change.

When she emerged, she was wearing a flight attendant uniform, her hair tied up in a bun, topped with a matching cap. Paired with black silk stockings and high heels, her long, stunning legs looked even more prominent. She brewed a cup of coffee and walked toward Ye Nan.

Ye Nan glanced at her, feeling a jolt of amazement. Although she was a real-life flight attendant, this was his first time seeing her in uniform. Her figure and beauty were top-tier, especially those incredibly long, slender, and shapely legs that were even more perfect than a professional model's. Standing at 175cm, and with 12cm heels, she was actually taller than him.

But Ye Nan loved this air of superiority she projected; it sent his desire to conquer into overdrive.

Ye Nan rose from the pool to the lounge chair. Just as he reached for the coffee, whether by accident or design, Li Siqi slipped, spilling the coffee right onto his crotch.

"Oh my, sir, I am so sorry! I didn't mean to!" Li Siqi feigned panic, quickly grabbing a tissue to wipe it off. Realizing where she was touching, she pulled her hand back, apologizing profusely.

"Sir?" Ye Nan was puzzled, but seeing the genuine look of panic on her face, he realized she was acting. Roleplay, huh? Heh, he liked it.

"Miss, your service quality is, shall we say, lacking. I’m definitely filing a complaint," Ye Nan said, keeping a straight face and pretending to be angry.

Li Siqi bowed, looking flustered. "Sir, I'm sorry, truly sorry. Please, I beg you, don't report me. I worked so hard to get this job."

Ye Nan stared at her long, beautiful legs and smiled wickedly. "If you want me not to report you, it’s actually quite simple."

Li Siqi said, "Just tell me, sir, I’ll agree to anything."

"Heh," Ye Nan chuckled, leaning into her ear. "Just do *that*..."

Li Siqi grew even more flustered, stepping back, her voice trembling. "Sir, no, I am a woman of principles. Please, don't be like that."

Ye Nan, recalling plots from certain Japanese films, stood up and threatened coldly, "Miss, you wouldn't want to lose your job because of my complaint, would you?"

Li Siqi’s slender body shuddered, a strange, flushed excitement creeping across her face. "Sir, please... it’s really not possible. Please choose another condition." She continued to struggle in a show of feigned resistance, not realizing that her act of playing hard to get was enough to make any man lose control.

Ye Nan stepped forward, wrapped his arms around her, and coaxed, "Miss, stop struggling. Do you really want to lose this job? Think of your family—they need you to support them."

A spark of inspiration flashed in Li Siqi’s eyes. She forced out a few tears, bit her lip, and assumed an even more panicked expression, looking truly pitiable.

"Sir, please, let me go. My father is in the hospital and needs a large sum for surgery, and I have a younger sister in school who needs tuition and living expenses. I really can't lose this job," she sobbed. "It's so hard, truly so hard."

Ye Nan said, "Just close your eyes and let me do as I please, and your job will be saved, won't it?"

"Waaaaah," Li Siqi cried, "No..."

Ye Nan swept her into his arms and carried her toward the bedroom. Inside, he cursed to himself—this woman was good at playing games. How had he never noticed she had the potential to be such a vixen? When he first met her, she was a cold office professional in a skirt and glasses; this was an entirely different side of her.

Yet, both were beautiful in their own way.

Seeing Ye Nan was playing for real, Li Siqi finally broke character. "Ye Nan, put me down! My period hasn't ended yet!"

Ye Nan grabbed her legs, wrapped in sheer black silk, and whispered into her ear, "It’s fine, we can do it a different way."

Li Siqi realized what he meant, and her face turned bright red in an instant.
