Chapter 22: Everything Has Been Moved Out

“All other forging materials are just accessories; my main purpose for coming here is this.” Sinan Sheng gazed at the seemingly ordinary, jet-black stone before her.
“Junior Sister, what is this?” Mo Lie asked, puzzled.
“A celestial meteorite,” Sinan Sheng replied softly.
This celestial meteorite was brought out from a secret realm by Sinan Sheng. At first, she brought it because she saw a halo of light on the stone. But upon contact, the halo vanished. She tried to lift the stone to see if there was something extraordinary beneath it, only to find it incredibly heavy—impossible to lift.
Suspecting something unusual about it, she stored it directly into her storage ring. Because of this stone, she hadn’t brought out much from that secret realm. She was severely scolded by Feng Zeyan at the time, and the stone was confiscated and sent to the Forging Peak. However, no one there could forge it, so it was left untouched.
Later, Liu Xuewei somehow learned that this stone was a celestial meteorite and knew the method to forge it. Feng Zeyan had someone forge a growth-type divine sword for Liu Xuewei using the celestial meteorite.
“Fourth Senior Brother, let’s go to the Pill Peak,” Sinan Sheng said with a smile as she put the meteorite away and turned to leave.
At this moment, disciples of the Pill Peak were all guarding against spirit beast attacks, most gathered in the Pill Peak’s plaza. Sinan Sheng and Mo Lie sneaked into the Pill Peak’s medicine storage pavilion.
Inside were mostly high-grade and supreme-grade elixirs, alongside some advanced medicinal pills. Although the Fourth Divine Sect had Mo Yu refining pills, some better than those here, one can never have too many pills.
Sinan Sheng and Mo Lie split up and cleared out the entire stash of elixirs. Not stopping there, Sinan Sheng led Mo Lie to the medicinal herb fields on the back mountain.
“Fourth Senior Brother, the herbs here have grown quite well. Take all the oldest ones,” Sinan Sheng said as she began pulling them up.
Mo Lie also began gathering herbs of good age, while wherever Sinan Sheng passed, it was like a swarm of leeches—no spirit plant escaped.
Watching Sinan Sheng’s swift actions, Mo Lie opened his mouth but said nothing, knowing he couldn’t match her speed and obediently focused on finding high-aged spirit plants.
“Spirit beasts are charging the Pill Peak! Prepare for defense!” The voices of Pill Peak disciples grew louder. Mo Lie grabbed Sinan Sheng, and they swiftly mounted their flying swords and left.
“Next, are we heading to their treasure pavilion?” Mo Lie asked, glancing back at Sinan Sheng on the spirit sword.
“The treasure pavilion has protective arrays; we can’t get in. Plus, everything inside is marked; even if we took something out, we couldn’t use it. It would also be obvious we tampered with things. Let’s go straight to the Sacred Heaven Sect’s warehouse—there should still be spirit stones and such there,” Sinan Sheng explained.

Sinan Sheng smiled brightly at Mo Lie, who nodded and flew in the direction she pointed.
Below, cries of anguish echoed continuously. Sinan Sheng looked down to see spirit beasts and people in chaos.
Feng Zeyan occasionally pulled disciples aside or struck spirit beasts away amidst the crowd, but the once carefree and elegant Sect Master Feng was no longer so composed.
Sinan Sheng hurriedly took out a recording stone. Mo Lie glanced at her and understood immediately, stopping their flying swords in midair.
After recording for a while, Mo Lie led Sinan Sheng away.
Because of the spirit beast riot, the warehouse was left unattended—an opportunity for Sinan Sheng and Mo Lie.
The door bore a restriction seal which, in her previous life, Sinan Sheng might not have been able to open easily, but now she did so effortlessly.
Upon entering, Sinan Sheng was dazzled by the abundance of spirit stones inside.
“Are the people of the Sacred Heaven Sect out of their minds?” Mo Lie said, unable to suppress a smirk as he looked at the room piled high with spirit stones.
Such a large sect just stored all their spirit stones in the warehouse without proper protection or concealment.
“The Sacred Heaven Sect is arrogant, thinking no one would dare break in to steal. That’s our chance,” Sinan Sheng said, starting to grab everything frantically, clearly not intending to leave anything behind.
Mo Lie was equally busy, quickly gathering spirit stones and materials from the warehouse.
“Something’s wrong—someone’s broken into the warehouse!” An elder in charge of the warehouse detected the disturbance at the door’s restriction seal and felt a sudden unease.
“What? Hurry and check it out!” Feng Zeyan, nearby, also grew anxious upon hearing this.
The elder quickly left his post, flying toward the warehouse.
“Junior Sister, someone’s coming!” Mo Lie sensed the approaching aura and hurriedly looked at Sinan Sheng.
“Let’s go, Fourth Senior Brother, we’re heading home.”
“Alright.” Crushing their teleportation talisman, the moment the warehouse door opened, the two vanished from the spot.
“It’s over.” The elder, staring at the empty warehouse, felt his anger and frustration overwhelm him. He coughed up blood and fainted instantly.
After all the spirit beasts were subdued, Feng Zeyan sat in the main hall with elders from the various peaks standing on either side.
“The spirit beasts were kept well-locked. Have you found out what happened?” Feng Zeyan asked the elder from the Spirit Beast Peak.
“Master, someone unlocked the spirit beasts’ cages, causing them to swarm out. As for who, no one saw,” the elder replied.
“Besides some buildings, were there any other losses?” Feng Zeyan frowned.

Someone broke into the Sacred Heaven Sect, yet no one noticed.
Was that person too powerful, or had they used some method to conceal their aura?
“Master! It’s bad, the sect’s warehouse has been emptied. The elder in charge fainted from shock!” A disciple stumbled in.
“What?” Everyone was shocked.
“Master, the Pill Peak’s medicine storage pavilion—the pavilion…” The disciples were still catching their breath when Pill Peak disciples arrived running.
“What happened to the medicine storage pavilion?” The Pill Peak elder dashed over, grabbing the disciple by the collar.
“The medicine in the pavilion was… was completely taken—none left at all,” the disciple stammered.
“Bastards!” The Pill Peak elder flew out in fury.
“Elder, elder, I haven’t finished! The high-aged spirit plants on the back mountain have all been pulled out. Some places are completely stripped!” The disciple chased after him.
The Pill Peak elder, who was riding his flying sword, suddenly fell from the sky, crashing hard to the ground.
“Could the Forging Peak be in trouble too?” The Forging Peak elder felt uneasy.
Both Pill Peak and Spirit Beast Peak suffered incidents—could the Forging Peak be next?
“Elder! Elder!” A disciple from the Forging Peak rushed in, making the elder’s heart skip a beat.
“What happened?”
“The forging materials in our warehouse… are all gone,” the disciple’s face drained of color.
“Bastards! Who exactly dares to do this?” The Forging Peak elder was so furious he nearly bit his old teeth to pieces.
“What about the crafted magical tools?” Feng Zeyan asked coldly.
“Those things are still there, just carelessly thrown on the ground,” the disciple replied, as if they were unwanted.
For some reason, a sudden ominous feeling rose sharply in Feng Zeyan’s heart.
He abruptly stood up, returned to his residence, rotated his incense burner, and rushed into the underground secret chamber.
