Chapter 7: Unemployed Again

At 7 p.m., in a small private room of a restaurant, Kun Wang met the four female protagonists of this story world for the first time.

As Duan Jiabao’s younger brother, upon seeing Kun Wang in person, he finally understood why his sister couldn’t stop talking about him.

The others were clearly upset by her reaction. In frustration, they handed Liang Shuang a phone and showed her a photo.

“See for yourself—this is the tree you want to be tied to.”

The moment Liang Shuang saw the picture, she froze in shock. After a few seconds, she grabbed her bag and walked out of the private room.

Duan Zhenyu, who had been enjoying his food, paused and watched her leave. “She’s going to find her fiancé, isn’t she?”

“I’d bet on it.”
