Chapter 13: Are You Just as Stiff When You're with Him?
Yun Chuxia left without looking back.
Behind her, Yun Hongbin’s furious roar rang out, “If you leave, don’t ever come back!”
Yun Chuxia raised an eyebrow and smiled, “Don’t mind if I do.”
Uncle Liu pretended to be mute all the way, watching silently as the Yun family’s young lady held back tears until her eyes were bloodshot. He sighed quietly.
The half-hour drive passed quickly. Siyu Chuan’s villa was nestled in the prime, high-priced Yunlu area of Lanxi—a quiet oasis amid the bustle, offering utmost privacy.
The Cullinan glided to a stop by the entrance. Yun Chuxia pulled her suitcase and stepped through the open door.
Siyu Chuan stood with his back to her, talking on the phone by the floor-to-ceiling window. His white shirt sleeves were rolled halfway up, revealing strong, muscular arms.
Broad shoulders, narrow waist, and sleek lines led down to black trousers that emphasized his long legs—he was likely about six feet three.
Yun Chuxia surveyed the three-story villa. Its minimalist black-and-white design was cold yet tasteful.
Overall, it felt devoid of life.
Naturally, there was no scent of another woman.
Yun Chuxia shook her head. Considering her status, she shouldn’t dwell on such things.
They each got what they needed, simply abiding by the terms of their contract.
Love was irrelevant; survival was what mattered.
She was well aware of what stepping into this villa signified—nothing more than the usual dealings between a man and a woman. She had come to terms with it.
The call ended, and Siyu Chuan turned to look at her.
---
Good, no injuries.
It seemed Yun Hongbin still had some reservations.
He approached lazily. “Close the door.”
Yun Chuxia obediently shut it. Just as she turned, her hands were seized and raised above her head, pinned against the door.
A cool scent of cedar wood wafted around them.
Siyu Chuan bit her moist lips, pressing and grinding gently, his touch bold and tangled.
The pressure on her wrists eased, replaced by warm hands resting lightly on her slender waist.
He pulled her close, bodies pressed together.
Yun Chuxia couldn’t resist; her legs weakened.
Her freed hands instinctively reached up to grasp the back of his neck, tilting her head to find support, fearful of collapsing.
In the midst of the chaos, she heard a soft laugh.
Siyu Chuan stepped back, admiring her still-dazed eyes. His usually crystal-clear gaze now held a faint mist—innocent and enticing.
He extended a fingertip to touch her slightly swollen, reddened lips, his voice unreadable in emotion:
“Still too stiff.”
With that, he turned and sank onto the black leather sofa. His knees parted slightly, long legs relaxed—a picture of languid indifference.
Yun Chuxia knew he was dissatisfied with her performance.
She couldn’t blame herself; after all, she truly lacked experience.
Though she had been with Siyu Haochen for three years, he had never touched her.
---
He wasn’t devoid of feelings, but they always stopped abruptly.
At times, it was as if he became a different person, his gaze instantly clear.
Yun Chuxia had wondered why, but the comments online provided the answer.
[The male and female leads are both pure and exclusive; the female lead never returned, so how could the male lead have touched a substitute?]
According to the storyline, Siyu Haochen was to remain chaste for Su Muxue, so nothing ever happened between them.
[By the way, three years—didn’t the female supporting role suspect the male lead’s incapacity?]
To be honest, she had doubted and even asked.
Siyu Haochen had earnestly explained:
“Don’t overthink it. It’s respect.”
Yun Chuxia believed him, but the Siyu Chuan before her clearly didn’t.
He toyed with a wine glass in his knotted fingers. The amber liquid swayed, seeming more intoxicated than any person.
Siyu Chuan’s voice was thick: “Were you this stiff when you were with him?”
He tilted his head back and took a swig, his Adam’s apple bobbing. His breath carried a hint of alcohol as he asked:
“Is this your sincerity to cooperate?”
