As Kizaru launched his attack, the naval forces aboard the fifteen warships behind him also sprang into action. However, rather than advancing, they began an intense bombardment directed at Buffon and his group.

Abys immediately noticed the countless cannonballs flying their way and promptly shielded Dragon Lord on the deck with her petite frame. With firm conviction, she declared, “Don’t worry, Dragon Lord, I won’t let anyone harm you.”

No sooner had she spoken than Lili dragged her into the cabin. “Stay inside and don’t come out. Dragon Lord, we’ll protect you.”

Emerging from the cabin, Lili reverted to her true giant stature, positioning herself firmly in front of Dragon Lord.

Meanwhile, the Panda Man, who had been useless in the previous skirmish, said to Buffon, “Captain Buffon, I need a favor again. This time, make sure you kick me accurately!”

After saying this, the Panda Man curled up into a huge ball once more, ready for Buffon to launch him onto the opposing warship.

This time, Buffon, having learned from experience, gave a light kick, using less than ten percent of his strength, and sent the Panda Man flying accurately onto a ship hundreds of meters away.

Once the Panda Man landed on the enemy’s deck, he suddenly produced a piece of bamboo, took a bite, and then began wreaking havoc.

Without Kizaru’s presence to bolster the troops, the warships were manned only by ordinary navy soldiers who were no match for this ability user. The Panda Man rampaged across the deck like a meat grinder.

He not only knocked numerous sailors into the sea but also tore the warship apart, leaving it riddled with holes.

Watching this scene, Buffon began to entertain a sliver of belief in the Panda Man’s claim of wielding 3 million jin of strength.

“Reiku, keep an eye on that guy. Don’t let him knock himself into the sea!” Reiku smiled slightly, activated the jets on her combat boots, and flew towards the Panda Man.

The other four giants spread out in the four directions around the ship, using their bodies to block the incoming cannonballs.

Having witnessed Buffon’s godlike medical skills earlier, they felt no concerns anymore. Even if they had to engage Kizaru in close combat, they wouldn’t flinch.

Buffon, however, remained still this time. With others handling the cannonball defense, he no longer needed to intervene. His focus was on the battle between Sauro and Kizaru. Should Sauro’s life be in danger, that would be the moment for him to act.

It was unclear how much Kizaru was “holding back” his true strength, but with the Wax-Wax Fruit boosting Sauro, the fight was evenly matched.

“Hey! Sauro, where did you get that fruit power? I heard Crocodile’s subordinates had someone like that. Did you kill him and steal the fruit?” Kizaru taunted.

Sauro ignored Kizaru’s provocation entirely. Despite his massive frame, he gained no advantage over Kizaru.

Still, with the Navy’s Sixth Style and the Wax-Wax Fruit’s enhancement, Kizaru couldn’t defeat him instantly.

“What is he thinking?” Buffon wondered. Then, turning to Baggio who had just approached, he said, “Go help him. Let’s see if the two of you together can challenge an admiral.”

Holding a new supreme great blade, Baggio, his face masked, asked softly, “Is the speed quick?”

Once Baggio joined the fray, Kizaru’s composure faded compared to his earlier duel with Sauro.

After exchanging a couple of blows with Baggio, he shifted from fighting only with the Amanomurakumo sword to using Armament Haki as well.

“That zombie must be the one with Shanks’ arm. To have such power, even among the navy he should be a top vice admiral. If it were Teflon coming, he might not even be this zombie’s match,” Kizaru thought, then suddenly his body dissolved into thousands of points of light, vanishing from Baggio and Sauro’s sight.

He reappeared atop the mast. This was another ability of his Glint-Glint Fruit—the Yasakani no Magatama!

Transforming into photons, he flew up and fired countless dazzling light bullets at his targets, which were the Juventus crew on the deck.

Baggio blocked two light bullets with his sword, then unleashed the Sixth Style Razor, pursuing Kizaru up the mast.

Sauro, weaker by comparison, had his armor riddled with holes from the light blasts, with wounds also appearing on his body.

Yet he showed no sign of retreat, covering himself again with the wax armor and charging at Kizaru with the Sixth Style Razor.

Buffon casually parried all the light bullets aimed at him, his gaze fixed tightly on Kizaru.

This was not due to overwhelming strength but because Kizaru’s Yasakani no Magatama was an indiscriminate area attack; the force hitting Buffon was diluted and thus manageable to deflect.

The others on deck were not so fortunate. The four giants could not escape unscathed, each struck several times by the light bullets.

Lili, standing before Dragon Lord, lacked experience in high-level combat and, while shifting her size to dodge the blasts, inadvertently allowed Dragon Lord behind her to suffer some hits as well.

Already extremely weak, Dragon Lord seemed stimulated by the attack and began trying to flap his wings to take flight.

After several attempts, he finally managed to fly shakily.

Everyone on deck was momentarily stunned by this sight. Abys, hiding in the cabin, saw it and disregarded the danger, rushing out.

“Dragon Lord! Have you recovered?” she called out excitedly, her big eyes glistening as she looked at the millennium dragon soaring above.

“Is this the millennium dragon? I’ve never seen one before. I wonder if the legend of dragon bones granting immortality is true,” Kizaru said, surprised atop the mast.

However, Baggio’s slash was already upon him. His Senbonzakura combined with Armament Haki made even a Logia-type user wary, forcing him to absorb the blow directly with his elemental body.

This Senbonzakura, once wielded by Yukihime, had earned its reputation as the supreme great blade’s twelfth technique through hard trials.

He once again drew the Amanomurakumo sword and clashed directly with Baggio.

The navy soldiers knew the order to capture the millennium dragon. Seeing Dragon Lord take to the air, they shifted some firepower skyward to bombard him.

Dragon Lord, aged and exhausted, flew slowly and low. After a short while, several shells struck him.

Wounded again, Dragon Lord’s body could no longer sustain flight; he flapped twice before plunging into the sea.

Abys, seeing this, ignored the incoming cannonballs and crouched by the ship’s railing, calling out.

Vivi, weapon in hand, ran to her side, blocking the cannonballs one by one.

Floating on the sea, Dragon Lord’s eyes welled with tears. Summoning his last strength, he let out a mournful roar.

The dragon’s high-pitched cry seemed to pierce the fabric of time and space, resonating throughout the world.

Everyone present was interrupted mid-action, their gazes drawn to this extraordinary creature.

Moments later, a shout rang out: “Look over there! Something is flying this way!”

Buffon turned silently to look. Tiny black dots appeared in the sky from all directions, growing larger as they approached. Even the knowledgeable Buffon was shocked.

“A flock of millennium dragons! Looks like the lost island has truly reemerged after a thousand years!”

In the blink of an eye, the dragons formed a breathtaking spectacle, circling in countless concentric rings above Dragon Lord.

Faced with this scene, the navy soldiers ceased firing, or perhaps dared not continue.

Seeing this, Kizaru, after exchanging a fierce strike with Baggio, transformed back into points of light and returned to his previous warship.

“Everyone, do not fire at the millennium dragons. If you anger them, I can’t guarantee your safety. The mission remains to capture Buffon!”

Despite Kizaru’s fearlessness, he was wary for his subordinates. No matter the navy’s firepower, against such a massive number of flying beasts, these weak soldiers had little chance to fight back.

Suddenly, another change occurred.

The sea beneath the warships began to churn and rise. Gradually, land emerged from beneath the waves.

Before long, all the warships ran aground on this newly surfaced island.

Once stranded, the ships wobbled uncontrollably, and sailors lost their footing, falling into the sea.

At this point, the navy’s warships were practically incapacitated, and the remaining fighting would have to be hand-to-hand.

With the ocean no longer a barrier, the ability users aboard the Juventus were all freed. Abys leapt down from the ship and dashed toward the barely breathing Dragon Lord.

Using the Whisper Fruit’s power, she continued to read Dragon Lord’s thoughts, but her face gradually became soaked with tears.

Amid this sudden turn, Kizaru’s attention shifted to the island just emerging from the sea.

Countless petrified millennium dragon corpses littered the land, while those dragons that had soared moments ago now descended to the newly revealed earth.

Some of the millennium dragons, upon landing, began searching for places to lay their eggs.
