Feng Kreig, this compassionate and loyal transhuman, is portrayed as a tragic yet heroic figure in the original story, always managing to play a crucial role at pivotal moments through his unique abilities.

His powers would prove immensely important to Buffon in the future. Whether it was for replication or extracting blood for experiments, Buffon would never let such an opportunity slip away.

After meticulously stitching up Cobra’s wounds and regaining a mere 0.001% of the Heavenly King's control, Buffon headed straight for the south gate of the Aruba King’s Palace.

If events unfolded as described in the original tale, Mr. 2’s final appearance would be at this very gate.

At that moment, the sight of the real Cobra invigorated the King’s army with renewed morale! They firmly believed that the reports from Rapeseed Harbor were false. Now that Cobra had truly appeared, how could they not be overjoyed?

If the rebel forces were willing to halt and negotiate, perhaps this war could be avoided altogether. Every soldier of the King wished their country to be spared the ravages of battle.

Cobra solemnly declared, “Every soldier of the King’s army must lay down their arms. The guards on the city walls are forbidden to attack. Let the rebels enter the palace—I will personally explain everything to them!”

Hearing this, Chaka and Perro quickly voiced their concerns. “Your Majesty, this cannot be! If the rebels are allowed into the palace—”

But Cobra interrupted decisively, “I have watched that child, Kusha, grow up. I believe he does not want his country to be destroyed by fire and bloodshed. I also trust that all our people do not desire war.”

Moved by Cobra’s resolute stance, Chaka reluctantly relented, “By order of the King’s army, all soldiers at the south gate of the palace shall disarm. But those at the west gate must remain vigilant against any attacks from the Baroque Commune.”

Perro drew his sword and positioned himself beside Cobra. “Your Majesty’s safety is mine to protect.”

Meanwhile, Buffon had already arrived at the palace’s south gate. Though Mr. 2 was nowhere in sight, the earth trembled beneath him.

Gazing toward the horizon, he saw a cloud of dust rapidly approaching—signaling that Kusha’s rebel army was drawing near.

At the same time, from the west gate, a fast-running duck bore a figure cloaked in white, charging swiftly toward them.

Noticing the woolen hat atop the duck’s head, Buffon immediately recognized the rider. Who else but Caru and Vivi?

As they neared, Vivi removed the hood from her cloak, ready to greet Buffon, only to be met with a merciless strike from his hand.

Caru, about to protest, was commanded by Buffon, “Take your mistress inside the palace. This battle is far more complex than she imagines.”

Caru nodded understandingly and carried Vivi into the palace.

Just then, another figure appeared—clearly pursuing Vivi.

Buffon saw that it was Usopp on horseback and a faint smile crossed his lips.

Before Usopp could speak, Buffon struck him down with a single blow, and the figure reverted to Feng Kreig’s true form.

Buffon swiftly bound the unconscious Kreig with silk threads and tossed him behind himself.

Turning, Buffon stood alone before the palace’s south gate, facing the tens of thousands of rebel troops charging at full speed, his eyes devoid of any fear.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared behind him, stepping lightly in wooden clogs.

With a leisurely tone, the figure asked, “Doctor Buffon, do you require my assistance?”

Buffon shook his head calmly. “If you intervene, this place will become a massacre.”

As the rebel army drew closer, the palace trembled ever so slightly—a great battle was imminent.

Buffon estimated they had about half an hour before the enemy reached the city walls.

Composed, Buffon faced away from the gate, watching the surging rebel tide and raised both hands high.

On the walls, Cobra looked on in confusion, turning to Perro and asking, “What is Doctor Buffon doing?”

Perro shook his head. “I don’t know. We’ve seen him defeat the Mr. 4 duo instantly, and he healed that broken bone injury. I understand his medical skill and strength well. But to hold back hundreds of thousands of rebels alone—that seems impossible.”

Still, he reassured, “Your Majesty, rest assured, Doctor Buffon is not one to kill without reason.”

Cobra nodded, having recognized Buffon as a kindred spirit, especially since he spared the Mr. 4 duo after defeating them.

Meanwhile, Crocodile—who had secretly arrived in Aruba with CP0—was utterly baffled, even mocking, “Does Buffon really think he can stop an army of tens of thousands with just his hands?”

Though he had witnessed Buffon turn his sandstorm into glass and heard Mr. 3’s account of Buffon’s swift defeat of his top agents, Crocodile still refused to believe Buffon could halt so many troops.

Even if the rebels paused momentarily, Crocodile’s spies embedded within their ranks would act accordingly. In his eyes, Buffon could not possibly stop this war.

However, the captured Mr. 2 remained a troublesome factor. If forced to confess that Cobra’s identity at Rapeseed Harbor was merely a disguise, the situation might shift.

Fortunately, Mr. 2’s primary mission—luring the rebels to Aruba—was accomplished. Now, success depended on Mr. 7 and Miss Father’s Day.

If those two could successfully detonate the bomb, the entire scenario would remain under Crocodile’s control. But Robin’s continued absence vexed him greatly.

“Crocodile, you better find Nico Robin soon, or the whole plan will be ruined!” Stussy snapped in irritation.

“Our relationship with Nico Robin is no different from yours—just a partnership. That mysterious woman’s movements are always inscrutable. Do you think I can control her?” Crocodile replied firmly.

“Think carefully. If this plan fails, the World Government will strip you of your Shichibukai title,” Stussy warned.

“Damn Celestial Dragons!” Crocodile silently cursed, saying nothing aloud.

At that moment, Reiju, clad in combat gear, appeared behind Buffon. Though unaware of his plan, she felt safe standing by his side.

The thunder of the rebel horses grew louder. Even the faint tremors from the walls made the more timid King’s soldiers shudder.

Buffon now spotted the red horse at the front—likely Kusha himself.

Kusha frowned upon seeing the three figures standing at the south gate.

An advisor whispered, “Mr. Kusha, should we stop and assess?”

Kusha remained silent, weighing his options. Charging through might bolster morale, but what were these three figures? Could they pose a threat?

Resolute, Kusha gritted his teeth. “Press on to the palace. Do not halt.”

Buffon estimated the rebel army wasn’t seventy thousand strong as rumored, but less than a hundred thousand. Likely, that number was exaggerated, and this was only the vanguard.

Seeing no sign of the rebels slowing, Buffon dismissed the idea of calling out and instead leapt gracefully into the air, reaching a vantage point.

He raised his right foot high behind him, sending forth a crescent-shaped black slash wave, arching toward the area ahead of the rebels.
