“Doctor Buffon, you’re amazing! All along the way I kept hearing the people of Alabasta praising you!”

Buffon smiled and said calmly, “You can become a great doctor someday too.”

After greeting Chopper, Buffon continued, “Right now, the most important thing is to go to Alubarna!”

“Yes. If we don’t go to Alubarna and stop this war now, then even if we defeat the Sand Crocodile, this country will still be left in tatters,” the blind old man, Fujitora, said in agreement.

For this blind elder, who had just displayed his power, everyone still recognized the weight of his words.

“Old sir, are you willing to come with us to Alubarna?” Vivi asked, her tone full of hope.

Crocodile’s left hand turned to sand, and he controlled a golden hook to snatch Vivi back toward him.

This time, before anyone aboard the Juventus had even made a move, Luffy rushed out first, using himself to trade places with Vivi and wrench her free from Crocodile’s golden hook.

“You all go on ahead. I can beat the Sand Crocodile by myself!” Luffy shouted back at the people on the traveling crab.
