Yuan Shuang saw Lin Feng’s foot kicking toward him and had no choice but to stop choking He Tiantian’s neck. He dodged the strike and launched a counterattack against Lin Feng. However, Lin Feng remained exceptionally calm, having already anticipated Yuan Shuang’s reaction. Even when one kick missed, he pressed on with his assault, maintaining the upper hand.
Yuan Shuang was never a match for Lin Feng, and with Lin Feng holding the advantage, the outcome was inevitable.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Within just a few strikes, Lin Feng had knocked Yuan Shuang to the ground.
He Tiantian and Cheng Xiangyu, though long confident Lin Feng would defeat Yuan Shuang, were nonetheless filled with joy.
Wonderful!
Finally, we’re saved!
Wang Xingyu, on the other hand, was stunned. From Yuan Shuang’s reaction to Lin Feng, he could tell Yuan Shuang was no match for Lin Feng. But he hadn’t expected Yuan Shuang to be utterly powerless in front of Lin Feng.
He had thought the fight would be fierce, a battle to the death, so he could reap the benefits. Yet, the result was far from that.
Thankfully, he had foreseen this outcome.
Wang Xingyu laughed loudly, “Haha, this is fantastic! Yuan Shuang is no match for Lin Feng at all. The two lovely ladies are completely saved.”
“It was worth the effort for me to run back and find Lin Feng, persuading him repeatedly to come rescue you.”
“If anything had happened to you two, I wouldn’t want to live either.”
With these words, he practically claimed all the credit for Lin Feng’s victory over Yuan Shuang and the rescue of the two women, even excusing his earlier retreat.
Lin Feng felt speechless, inwardly cursing Wang Xingyu’s shamelessness—a real manipulative playboy!
What baffled him even more was that He Tiantian actually said, “So Wang Shao wasn’t really running away earlier, but went to find Lin Feng to save us!”
Wang Xingyu smiled, “Haha, yes, exactly!”
He thought to himself that this girl had good insight.
Then he hurried over and eagerly untied the vines binding He Tiantian, acting quite proactive.
Seeing the red marks on her skin, he blew gently on them and said, “Ah, they’re all red, that must hurt quite a bit, right?”
Then he glanced back at Yuan Shuang, who was still lying on the ground, and scolded, “You’re too rough. Don’t you know how to be gentle with a lady?”
He then looked at Lin Feng, “You too, I told you to come save them quickly, but you dawdled. You need to hurry so the ladies suffer less.”

He Tiantian smiled and said, “Wang Shao, you’re so kind. Thank you for your concern. Don’t worry, I’m fine.”
But Yuan Shuang couldn’t stand it any longer and spat, “Disgusting! I’ve never met a shameless man like you!”
“You say you didn’t really run away but went to call Lin Feng to deal with me.”
“Then why did you push the two ladies down right in front of me?”
Uh?
Wang Xingyu was speechless.
He Tiantian explained, “One of us is ill, and the other injured. Only he could run the fastest, the most likely to escape from you and find Lin Feng.”
“And by pushing us down to block your path, he increased his chances of success.”
“This shows Wang Shao’s great wisdom. Even in such a panic earlier, he made the most rational decision and the right choice.”
“Otherwise, Lin Feng wouldn’t have arrived so quickly to save us.”
She looked apologetically at Wang Xingyu, “I’m very sorry, Wang Shao. I misunderstood you before, thinking you deliberately abandoned us.”
Cheng Xiangyu also said, “Yes, I’m sorry too. I didn’t expect there was such meaning behind you pushing us down then.”
Wang Xingyu was overjoyed hearing these words, but outwardly pretended to be aloof and waved his hand, “It’s nothing, it’s nothing.”
Lin Feng felt utterly dumbfounded.
Yuan Shuang was even more speechless and stunned.
He had seen strange things before, but never anything this bizarre!
Yet, after collecting himself, he thought if he were Lin Feng, he would have gone insane.
He risked everything to save two women, only to have a manipulative playboy steal most of the credit with just a few words, and to top it off, be blamed by him. And the two women were all siding with the playboy.
Who wouldn’t be furious to death?
Yuan Shuang said bluntly, “Lin Feng, it seems Cheng Xiangyu has no feelings for you, and He Tiantian, the one you like, doesn’t really care for you either!”
“How about this: let me go, and I’ll recognize you as my elder brother.”
“From now on, we’ll rule this deserted island. Let those arrogant young masters and missies, and all the snobs who looked down on us, serve us like cattle and horses, at our beck and call.”
He Tiantian panicked instantly and hurriedly said, “Lin Feng, don’t listen to him. I do have some feelings for you.”
Cheng Xiangyu chimed in, “Yes, Lin Feng, don’t listen to him. I do have some affection for you.”
Uh?
Wang Xingyu was stunned, his face suddenly filled with fear.

Facing the tall and burly Yuan Shuang, none of them were a match, let alone against Lin Feng, who was even stronger.
Snapping back to reality, Wang Xingyu quickly said, “Lin Feng, don’t act rashly. I’m the only son of the city lord.”
Lin Feng snorted, “Shut up. I don’t care who you are.”
Wang Xingyu was annoyed but stayed silent.
He thought silently that this was a deserted island, not Sea City; otherwise, he would be dead in no time.
Yuan Shuang saw this and smiled inwardly, sensing his scheme to sow discord was working.
He then said, “Lin Feng, don’t worry. If you and I join forces here on this island, we will be invincible. Every survivor of this shipwreck will kneel before us…”
But Lin Feng interrupted, “Shut up. You, too. I will never cooperate with someone like you.”
Yuan Shuang frowned but continued, “Lin Feng, no, big brother, from now on you are my elder brother. Rest assured, I know you like He Tiantian. I won’t touch her…”
Lin Feng interrupted once more, “Shut up. I have two questions for you.”
Yuan Shuang said, “Big brother, ask away.”
Lin Feng asked, “The other girl who was with He Tiantian, have you encountered her since?”
Yuan Shuang shook his head, “No.”
Judging by his expression, it didn’t seem like a lie, and Lin Feng relaxed.
Then he asked, “Is it because you stayed here all along and didn’t look for her?”
Yuan Shuang nodded, “Yes, big brother! See, that’s the makeshift tent I built.”
He pointed toward a large, leafy tree not far away, under which a tent was made from branches and clothes.
He Tiantian saw the tent and said, “Lin Feng, this tent and the supplies inside originally belonged to Qin Meng and me. He took them from us and even tried to force us…”
She was afraid Lin Feng might agree to Yuan Shuang’s plan to join forces and rule the island.
Lin Feng glanced at her, then looked at Yuan Shuang and asked, “Why are you living here?”
Yuan Shuang didn’t answer.
Lin Feng continued, “This place is close to my shelter. You must have planned to seize my shelter and supplies when I left, right?”
