“Young Master Wang, what are you doing?”

He Tiantian screamed in shock as she saw Wang Xingyu’s actions. Food was scarce on the deserted island; it was one thing if he didn’t eat, but to waste it like this was simply outrageous. If it had been Lin Feng who did this, she was certain he would have lost control.

“Damn it, Wang Xingyu, stop!”

Lin Feng was even more furious, cursing wildly. This fish mint was something he had found, intended as emergency food, yet Wang Xingyu was ruining it so recklessly.

But when Wang Xingyu saw Lin Feng, instead of stopping, he pressed down harder on the fish mint, burying it deep in the mud, making it impossible to dig out. As he stepped, he cursed, “Dare to offend me and make me suffer? This is the price!”

Lin Feng’s heart bled at the sight.

“Damn it!”

Fuming, he stormed over and delivered a flying kick that knocked Wang Xingyu to the ground.

“You dare hit me?”

Wang Xingyu roared angrily, lying in the dirt.

Lin Feng stepped on him and spat out, “So what if I hit you? You destroyed my food—I have every reason to want to kill you!”

Seeing Lin Feng’s fierce expression, Wang Xingyu suddenly remembered the scene when he killed Yuan Shuang and immediately curled up, begging fearfully, “Brother Lin, Feng, I’m sorry, I was wrong, please don’t kill me.”

He Tiantian quickly shielded him, saying, “Lin Feng, don’t act on impulse!”

Lin Feng snorted, “You all come to steal my food, I didn’t even want to argue, but for him to destroy it—I really can’t bear it.”

He Tiantian responded, “Wang Xingyu was wrong to destroy your food, but aren’t you also at fault? If you had been a little kinder to him earlier and returned his watch, would he have acted like this?”

“Damn it, so it’s still my fault?”

Lin Feng cursed even more bitterly, his desire to kill Wang Xingyu intensifying.

Yet He Tiantian held Wang Xingyu tightly, preventing any further violence.

Lin Feng shouted, “He Tiantian, get out of the way!”

Considering she was Qin Meng’s close friend, he didn’t want to hurt her.

But He Tiantian said firmly, “No, I won’t move! And Lin Feng, you better calm down. Wang Xingyu is the city lord’s son. If you dare harm him, when we get rescued and return, you’ll die miserably.”

Lin Feng thought it over. He wouldn’t harm He Tiantian, and as long as she didn’t provoke him, there was hope to survive until rescue. Killing Wang Xingyu would be much more troublesome than killing Yuan Shuang.

“I’ll let it slide this time, but next time, I won’t let you off.”

With that, he turned and ran to the pool, filling the bottle and cup with fresh water before heading back to the shelter.

Wang Xingyu’s eyes lit up as he saw Lin Feng carrying a lot of fresh water. Excitedly, he said, “Ha ha, great, fresh water!”

He Tiantian quickly warned, “Young Master Wang, please don’t destroy the pool again. This is the only fresh water source we’ve found so far.”

“I won’t destroy it,” Wang Xingyu assured. “I’m just very thirsty and want to drink.”

He hurried to the pool and started drinking.

He Tiantian breathed a sigh of relief, silently grateful he hadn’t ruined the pool. Then she recalled Lin Feng’s warning that wild fresh water contained parasites and had to be boiled before drinking to avoid illness.

Before she could say anything, Wang Xingyu had already drunk a lot.

He laughed as he drank, “Ha ha, this water is so sweet and delicious. He Tiantian, have some too.”

She replied, “No thanks, I ate the fish mint, so I’m not as thirsty.”

Inwardly, she hoped Lin Feng had exaggerated—that the wild water wasn’t so dangerous.

After drinking, Wang Xingyu looked toward where Lin Feng had left and snorted, “Since I was a child, when have I ever been wronged like this?”

Then he ran downstream and began digging furiously, trying to open a channel to drain the pool’s water.

“Young Master Wang, stop! You can’t do that!”

He Tiantian hurried to stop him.

Wang Xingyu snorted, “Get out of my way. I have to destroy this pool today, to show him the consequences of offending me.”

He Tiantian pleaded again, “Young Master Wang, we need this fresh water too.”

But Wang Xingyu ignored her and continued destroying the pool.

He Tiantian dared not offend him nor use force to stop him, so she could only watch helplessly as he dug a large breach, letting most of the fresh water flow away.

Fortunately, the pool was over a meter deep, and half a meter of fresh water remained.

When Wang Xingyu saw it was hard to drain the rest, he finally stopped.

He Tiantian sighed with relief, thinking at least some fresh water was left, though fetching water would now be more troublesome.

Then Wang Xingyu jumped into the pool, turned his back, pulled down his pants, and urinated.

As he did, he said, “Too bad I haven’t eaten, or else I could have done something bigger. But making that guy drink my urine? Not bad, ha ha!”

He Tiantian was speechless, thinking Wang Xingyu’s behavior was a bit too much.

But because he was the city lord’s son, she didn’t blame him at all. Instead, she blamed Lin Feng, feeling it was Lin Feng’s fault for offending Wang Xingyu and provoking such acts.

After finishing, Wang Xingyu pulled up his pants and tried to climb out of the pool.

Though the water was only half a meter deep, the pool’s bottom was nearly half a meter thick with silt.

The edges were wet and slippery, and Wang Xingyu was under 1.7 meters tall with short legs.

It was very difficult for him to climb out.

He panicked, “He Tiantian, what do I do? I can’t get out.”

She was at a loss as well.

Alone, tired and hungry, it would be difficult for her to pull up a grown man.

She could only seek help from someone else.

But in this situation, who else could she ask besides Lin Feng?

Would Lin Feng agree to help?

Wang Xingyu had already angered Lin Feng by destroying the fish mint, making him murderous.

Now he had damaged the fresh water pool. If Lin Feng found out, he might go mad with rage and refuse to help.

Seeing He Tiantian dazed, Wang Xingyu grew more anxious, “What are you standing there for? Hurry and reach out and pull me up!”

He Tiantian said, “Young Master Wang, I might not be able to pull you up.”

He scoffed, “How do you know if you haven’t tried? I’m not as tall or strong as Lin Feng, and I’m not fat. You can definitely pull me up.”

Helpless, she lay on the ground and reached into the pool.

Wang Xingyu reached out and grabbed her hand.

The moment he touched her, he was stunned. He hadn’t expected such soft, delicate skin and tender little hands from an ordinary waitress.

Once he got out and found some food, he planned to have some fun with her.

After all, she liked him quite a bit—why waste meat served up on a silver platter?

Without further thought, he pulled hard, trying to leverage her strength to climb out.

He Tiantian exerted all her might to pull him up.

But as she feared, she couldn’t lift him.

Wang Xingyu refused to let go.

In the end, instead of him climbing out, he dragged He Tiantian into the pool with him.
