Chapter 105: Crushing Back and Forth (Added to Bookshelf to Avoid Losing It)
Only after the opposing driver stepped down from the car door and hurried back to the Hummer did Hua Tianyu calmly settle back into his seat and close the door without haste.
Seeing him return to the car, Wei Xueying asked curiously, “Why did that guy just inexplicably hang onto our car door earlier?”
Hua Tianyu pondered for two seconds. “It’s a staged accident.”
Wei Xueying gave him a sideways glance from the backseat. “Since when do staged accidents happen on car doors?”
Hua Tianyu glanced back at her, some grief in his eyes. “Xueying, you have to look at everything with a perspective of progress and development. Don’t just rely on old experience. Even staged accidents evolve—you can’t deny people’s advancements in their craft.”
Wei Xueying was speechless.
She had no idea how to respond. What did it mean to view staged accidents with a sense of progress and development? A staged accident was a staged accident; how could it evolve? Besides, that man was Zhuang Wei’s driver—was it really necessary to stage an accident with their car?
Just as she was about to say more, Wei Xueying suddenly noticed something ahead, her eyes wide with fear. Pointing forward, she cried out, “Watch out!”
...
As soon as Wang Xingsheng got back into his car, Zhuang Wei hurriedly retracted his head inside and rolled up the window.
He didn’t care that Wang Xingsheng had just slammed into the car door, nearly losing half his life in the process. Urgently, he tapped the steering wheel of the Jaguar, shouting, “Hit them—hit them hard! Floor it and wreck that car!”
“Alright, sizzle, sizzle, Young Master Zhuang, I’m coming, sizzle...” Despite the stabbing pain in his abdomen remaining unabated, Wang Xingsheng’s desire to teach Hua Tianyu a lesson was just as urgent. He gasped for breath between words, struggling to speak coherently.
Once inside, he hunched over and shifted the Hummer into gear.
“Flip their car! If you can’t flip it, at least smash it to pieces—as long as they don’t die! Hit them hard!” Zhuang Wei was out for revenge for what had happened last time. He was never a magnanimous man.
The heavily modified Hummer versus the Jaguar was like a stone smashing an egg. Missing this chance would haunt him.
“Young Master Zhuang, sizzle... what if we drive the wheels onto their roof? Sizzle...” While still in pain, Wang Xingsheng was already hatching a devious plan.
“Drive onto their roof? Then crush them back and forth like that?” Zhuang Wei’s eyes lit up. What a brilliant idea!
It was absolutely perfect! Driving his Hummer onto their car’s roof and crushing it repeatedly—just imagining the scene made his blood boil!
Thrilling! Absolutely thrilling!
“Hahaha! Wang Xingsheng, you’ve got potential! Such a waste to be just a driver. When we get back, go find Human Resources yourself and tell them I said I want to make you my assistant!” Zhuang Wei laughed heartily, slapping Wang Xingsheng hard on the shoulder, clearly impressed with the idea.
Wang Xingsheng winced from the double blow to his abdomen, his face twitching in pain, but he dared not utter a sound.
An assistant to the vice president of Zhuang Group—and the assistant to the heir apparent no less—was a coveted position few could dream of.
Never mind the pain; even if they took off one of his legs, he would gladly take the assistant role.
From driver to assistant—this was an overnight rise!
“Young Master Zhuang... please sit tight!” Wang Xingsheng gritted his teeth, straightened his bent back, and with his left hand flicked on all six high-powered spotlights on the front and roof of the car.
Those six spotlights alone could blind Hua Tianyu opposite. But that wasn’t the worst.
With a sinister grin, Wang Xingsheng toggled the light switch again.
The spotlights began flickering at regular intervals, constantly varying in brightness to intensify the assault on the opposing driver’s eyes.
Thankfully, it was dusk; at night, this continuous flashing could cause temporary blindness!
What dangers might the opposing driver’s brief blindness cause? That was no longer a concern for Zhuang Wei and Wang Xingsheng.
Adjusting the spotlights, Wang Xingsheng gently pulled the steering wheel, aimed the left front tire at the pink Jaguar, and floored the accelerator.
The Hummer roared like a runaway express train, bearing down on Hua Tianyu with tremendous force.
It was obvious the Hummer’s exhaust had been heavily modified; the mufflers were long gone. Anyone looking at the back of Zhuang Wei’s car would see six exhaust pipes instead of one.
Wang Xingsheng slammed the pedal down, and all six pipes unleashed a terrifying roar, louder than any Hummer horn. Everyone nearby turned their attention toward the commotion.
“What is Zhuang Wei trying to do?”
“Is he really going to ram the Jaguar? Move our cars aside quickly!”
“That man’s crazy! Never provoke him again!”
“Nonsense! Move the cars now!”
Zhuang Wei’s pedal-to-the-metal move sent the crowd into a panic and made everyone take his reckless nature more seriously.
When Hua Tianyu heard Wei Xueying shout “Watch out,” he glanced back to see the Hummer’s spotlights flickering.
The flashing lights forced Hua Tianyu to squint, but he was no ordinary man. A faint deep blue glow shimmered in his eyes, slowly flowing within his irises.
Thanks to that glow, Hua Tianyu’s vision remained unhindered. He shouted back to Wei Xueying in the rear seat, “Fasten your seatbelt!”
Wei Xueying was nearly blinded by the spotlights but quickly reached down to check her seatbelt.
Thankfully, it was still fastened!
“Hua Tianyu, don’t be reckless!” Even with her eyes closed, Wei Xueying was afraid he might do something crazy and urgently warned him.
“Relax. These two little pests aren’t worth me losing my mind over.”
Hua Tianyu let out a faint cold smile, adjusted the steering wheel slightly, and floored the accelerator. The Jaguar’s engine roared like a leopard leaping forward.
“Run them over!” Zhuang Wei howled from the Hummer.
“Hua Tianyu, be careful!” Wei Xueying squinted open one eye and shouted from the Jaguar.
The two vehicles were about to collide head-on. Many onlookers had already closed their eyes, unable to bear the thought of the Jaguar’s tragic fate.
At that instant, Hua Tianyu violently turned the wheel, released the accelerator, and pulled the handbrake.
The Jaguar struck the Hummer’s front side at a sharp, cunning angle.
With a “Boom!” the collision was nothing like the cataclysmic crash everyone expected. No sparks flew; instead, the collision ended in an eerily peculiar manner.
