At the feeding area of Star Moon Home, Prince Zhan stood on the stairs swinging his legs, his face brimming with a carefree and nonchalant air.

Prince Zhan: "Handsome, bring out your weapon. I have a feeling it's about to arrive."

Hao Yingjun suddenly leaped out from the bushes, still clutching a telescope as he scanned the surroundings.

Hao Yingjun: "Big sister, I believe confidence is indeed a good thing. Yet excessive confidence can tip into conceit. You are truly beautiful, but dressed this way, I fear it won't draw the culprit."

He gazed at Prince Zhan in a sports outfit, the zipper along the left leg side parted open, with one leg shaking outside without pause.

Prince Zhan: "Why won't it draw? Isn't my charm strong enough?"

Hao Yingjun: "Please look behind me."

At that instant, two orderly rows of elderly gentlemen and ladies emerged from the park, running in unison.

As they advanced, they chanted: "I'm happy, I'm healthy. I'm happy, I'm healthy. I'm happy, I'm healthy."

With the slogan lingering in the air, the grandpas and grandmas gradually faded into the distance.

Hao Yingjun: "I think low-key and approachable is spot on. But we mustn't forget our purpose today! The main goal is to lure the target."

Prince Zhan: "I know that too. I'm not upset. What now? We're at a dead end again."

Hao Yingjun: "I've foreseen this, so I prepared a bit."

On the car, Zhou Ning applied salve to Zhou Tong's injuries, his back already shredded through with blood seeping inside, a sight both alarming and painful. The tending produced faint hissing sounds with each motion.

Zhou Ning: "Endure it."

Zhou Tong turned his head, then fell silent once more.

Zhou Tong: "Just a few stray dogs! I handled them myself. This scratch is nothing."

He glanced back at Zhou Ning, who assisted him, and remarked softly, "Sister Zhou, your touch is even gentler than Dr. Bai's."

Zhou Ning: "My son is far too restless. He bounds about daily. Who knows when he'll injure himself? You're no better, grown man though you are, still so bothersome."

Zhou Tong: "Perhaps we should stop here. Your son will be home from school soon?"

Zhou Ning: "Hold on a moment longer. You wish to wrap up the case quickly, don't you?"

Zhou Tong: "That's not it."

Zhou Ning's expression shifted: "So you believe I cannot draw them out?"

Zhou Tong turned eagerly, locking eyes with Zhou Ning: "No, that's not the case."

Zhou Ning: "Hey, turn around."

Zhou Tong: "You're so sweet. If I were a dog, I'd have pounced on you long ago."

A flicker of mild exasperation crossed Zhou Ning's face: "Enough with the nonsense. Hurry."

Prince Zhan then emerged in fresh attire—a bold red high-heeled shoe, a daring red backless short dress, and lips painted a seductive crimson. The sight left Hao Yingjun beside him utterly transfixed, saliva pooling as he stared.

Prince Zhan snapped his fingers, nearly calling out, "Speak up. What are you gawking at? How does it look now? Still adequate?"

Hao Yingjun swallowed hard: "Cough, cough."

Prince Zhan: "Effective this time?"

Hao Yingjun: "I mean, big sister, this is like standing in the privy and refusing to relieve yourself."

Prince Zhan: "Explain yourself clearly."

Hao Yingjun pulled out his phone, arranged the angle perfectly, and poised to capture the moment.
