Softhearted, she taught that beast a fraction of her supernatural skills so he could take his revenge. But who could have predicted that the brute would be so audacious as to use magic to crush the entire Sun Dog family to death in their own home? Realizing the calamity he had caused, he fled straight to the Bull Demon King and enlisted as one of his ox soldiers.

When Wang Zixuan heard this, her temper flared instantly.

Wang Zixuan exclaimed, “Oh, for heaven’s sake! Such reckless audacity!”

Without hesitation, she burrowed through the earth, heading straight for the Bull Demon King's residence. Along the way, Zhong Kui called to ask why she hadn’t arrived yet. Attending some auction was the last thing on her mind. She simply replied that she was busy and hung up.

(Some might wonder, if she can travel underground, why bother driving a car at all? Wouldn't a single spell suffice? Well, the living world has its own rules, and so does the underworld. Such spells can't be used carelessly, especially in this age of high technology—if detected by some advanced device, it could cause widespread panic. Besides, sometimes, it’s about keeping up appearances—a flashy car like a Cayenne turns more heads than any spell could.)

Zhong Kui, well aware of Wang Zixuan’s hot temper, sensed trouble brewing. He calculated the omens—good grief, something major was about to happen! Without delay, he called the King of the Underworld. Zhong Kui’s heart pounded with urgency as he hoped the call would be picked up quickly. He knew better than anyone how much the Underworld King valued Wang Zixuan.

As soon as the call connected, he blurted out, “Boss, we have a problem! I’m afraid Wang Zixuan is about to stir up some trouble!”

The Underworld King’s languid voice came through the line, “What’s my little Xuan up to now? Don’t tell me she’s gone and pulled out the Grand Supreme Elder Lord’s beard again.”

Zhong Kui hurriedly replied, “Boss, there’s no time for jokes. Wang Zixuan has meddled her way straight into the Bull Demon King’s affairs. You know what kind of temper he has!”

Suddenly, a shrill, high-pitched voice came from the receiver, “Little Xuan’s gone to see Old Bull? No way—I must go and have a look. If he dares lay a finger on her, I’ll turn him into spiced beef!”

With that, the line went dead, the beeps echoing in Zhong Kui’s ear. But now his heart eased. With the Underworld King intervening, Wang Zixuan should be safe—so long as she arrived in time!

Upon arriving before the Bull Demon King, Wang Zixuan pointed right at his nose and unleashed her fury: “You shameless fiend! How dare you condone your underlings in slaughtering innocents and committing evil? Outrageous!”

The Bull Demon King, aware that this had indeed gone too far, could only sigh in resignation, “Alright, alright, forgive me, forgive me. Please, calm your anger. If you wish to punish that foolish ox, do as you see fit.”

He thought that, for his sake, Wang Zixuan wouldn’t take things too far. But before he realized it, she pulled out a Remington and, without warning, blasted the ox’s soul to oblivion. The Bull Demon King had never suffered such humiliation—his fury erupted on the spot.

Even so, he knew full well who Wang Zixuan really was, so he tried to suppress his rage and said, “Are you satisfied now? Get out of here at once.”

With that, he turned to head back into his mansion, never expecting Wang Zixuan’s notorious temper. She charged right at him, seized the iron ring through his nose, and declared, “You blockheaded fiend! Come with me to see the Underworld King and confess your crimes!”

The Bull Demon King could not bear such humiliation—already seething with anger, he drew his iron cudgel and swung at Wang Zixuan.

In an instant, the Remington in her hand transformed into a lightsaber, which she raised to meet his blow. They clashed back and forth for several rounds, but in the end, Old Bull got the upper hand and subdued her.

“You ferryman,” the Bull Demon King spat, “you are truly out of line.”
